Today, as my husband was graciously preparing a turkey for dinner (we originally bought it expecting to host Thanksgiving), our daughter Erin pipes up: "You know, I have to eat BIRD all the time. I'm really getting sick of it."

We eat a lot of bird around here too. So, I totally get her.
